Bible Text: Various passages from the book of Job | Preacher: Nancy Hawes, Teacher | Series: Searching Out the Subject of Suffering | In this study we discuss the natural emotions that we experience when going through various types of suffering. In the book of Job we look at the specific emotions that Job experienced. Since these emotions can threaten to overwhelm us, it is imperative that we learn how to guard our perspective during the storms of suffering. First we examine several things that we can do to protect our perspective. Secondly, we discover a number truths with which to counsel our minds during these seasons of suffering.
