In this study we look at the name "Father" and we note various passages both in the Old and New Testaments where God is called Father. As a Father, God takes ownership and  responsibility to provide for, to protect and to guide His children. There are many blessings in being in a relationship with God as our father; however, we also look at what is our role and our responsibility to give honor and obedience to our Heavenly Father.
