As Christians we can declare that God is our banner! It is through Him that we experience victory in our lives. As we depend on Him and trust in His deliverance, we can see God work in our lives. This will evoke the response of giving Him the glory and rejoicing in Him throughout our lives. In Isaiah 11:10 and John 12:32 we look at Jesus Christ as our banner and recognize that when he died on the cross to pay our sin debt that He was our Jehovah Nissi, the One who gained the victory in our lives over sin, death and hell.
