In this study we begin by looking into God's Word to define an unwholesome tongue. Isaiah 6 gives us a clear picture of what our tongue looks like when compared to our holy God. As we continue to walk through Scripture, we consider aspects of communication such as the use of euphamisms, a flattering tongue and other forms of unwholesome speech. We then examine a wholesome tongue and see that God calls it a "tree of life". We conclude by studying  verses in Colossians 3 which guide us in transforming an unwholesome tongue  into a wholesome tongue for edification and the glory of God.
