Children
Sunday school is an important teaching time in our children’s ministry as the children are taught Bible lessons by teachers who love God, His Word and the children. Answers in Genesis curriculum is used for both children and youth.
Junior Church is another valuable part of children’s ministry. Children are dismissed, prior the preaching time of the worship service, to be taught Biblical principles from God’s Word.
Seasonal events, such as the Church Picnic and Fall Fun Night provide for fun Christ centered times in a wholesome and safe environment.
At TBC we take the training of the next generation seriously.
Families
Various activities throughout the year provide families with opportunities to fellowship together. These include: Picnic & Hymn sing in July, Fall Fun Night in October, Christmas Carol Sing-along in December and our special candlelight Christmas Eve service .
Ladies
September through May provides ladies with a monthly Bible Study hosted on the second Thursday of each month where the teaching of God’s Word, prayer and fellowship are emphasized.
The morning study, starting at 10:00 a.m., is followed by a luncheon which provides ladies with an opportunity to get to know each other and to foster friendships and fellowship.
The evening Bible study, which begins at 6:30 p.m., uses the same study material and meets at the church as well. This gives busy moms, and working women alike, an opportunity to study God’s Word. The study fosters fellowship and provides refreshments.
September 2026- May 2027 our study will be on women in the Bible. We will begin with Eve, “The Mother of all Living”. The nine month study will move chronologically through the Bible as we look at various women who walked through the pages of Scripture. Though they lived thousands of years ago, we will see that they were very much like us today. We will learn from their lives through both the good decisions and not so good decisions they made and understand how their lives were shaped by these decisions. We will learn about God’s Biblical plan for us down through the ages and how we can find deep fulfilment in living it out.
Men
Each first Saturday of the month, provides men with an opportunity to study the Word of God while fellowshipping over doughnuts and coffee. Join this encouraging, “iron sharpening iron”, time for men. Currently, the men are studying, Jim Berg’s study, Changed into His Image.
