El Roi, The God Who Sees Me
In this study we unveil the reality that God sees us and cares about us. We begin by looking indepth at Luke 12:6 and understand that we are valued by our God far more that the insignificant sparrrows whom God says He sees. We then study an illustration of El Roi in the life of Hagar, servant of Sarai, Abraham's wife. When we lay ahold of the reality that God sees the seemingly minute details of our lives, we can rest securely in His character. In closing we hear the story behind the hymn, "His Eye Is On the Sparrow" and we regognize that we too can have the joy of the Lord because He sees and He cares.
